I'd give them the ability to turn off those alerts. That way, they'll be stuck outside the bunker if the nukes ever fall. Let the zombie apocalypse have 'em, let the invading aliens eat them first. (esp. those last two...eating a leftist's crap-for-brains would probably turn a zombie's stomach or make a flesh-eating E.T. leave the planet immediately )

They might very well survive a nuclear holocaust, though. I mean... roaches can survive just about anything, right?
