I was emailing back and forth with a British friend about the recent two huge natl. lotteries and she mentioned something about "you lot having another election?" and wondering why so soon. I explained to her about the mid-terms - the House and Senate and how long they served, etc. I told her pretty much everything that was at stake...nearly everything on that graphic and she replied "Blimey, that's not what we hear over here." I told her the media over HERE didn't mention those things, either and that this was probably the second most important election of my life (the last one being the most important, of course)
