the homeless, unemployed, and drug use.
Published:
I viewed C-SPAN 2. They talked about polls dealing with the homeless, unemployed and drug users.
There is a lot of agreement among the different political parties. As in most situations in life we need leadership.
Part of the unemployment problem can be solved by changing how small business licenses are issued. Try starting a florist business in your home. You could be breaking the law if you do not have a license. These are road blocks in the way of employment.
Drug use and homelessness go hand in hand. This is about changing the law. One idea or solution is to decriminalize drug use. Treat it as a Civil Offense where treatment is offered. Now we have felons with records trying to get a job and a home.
I hope that we are looking for the best leaders to help us change this way of life. This is why we have elections. Leadership is required.
Thank You for your time and comments.

Can't agree with you more about discouraging red tape necessary for the simplest biz licences. Small business & free entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy & not large corporations - so we should facilitate & support small pop up biz entry
Another majors problem is automation that rapidly displacing jobs on the lower entry end of the job market. :-(
We do a number of trade shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York ans we meet & greet people world wide attending with new ideas, products, services, start up business conferences, etc - I would recommend for anyone L@@KING for real opportunities to inquire with their local convention authority about specific access procedure on subject areas of interest for incoming shows & how to apply for tickets (most are free for asking) - chance to connect with the whole world marketplace under one roof.
Thanks for the heads up on automation.
How would a person feel if a Civil violation like a speeding ticket is changed to a felony? Something like that.
I agree eliminate onerous laws which have been designed to work against entrepreneurship and commerce in general. Let small businesses thrive in a friendly environment.
As President Trump says, "I am the President of America and not of the World." This is a healthy proclamation.
For helping small business we can stop helping larger businesses. Politicians know how to do that.
Thank You konane and eddessaknight for your time and wisdom.
