There's an old saying that some say originated in Proverbs 7, not verbatim, but allegorically, that nothing good happens after midnight. I think it's true, and more so in most big cities.

I read a lot of books by Walter Mosley!    I can't remember which one, but, it spoke about, "Lot" in the Bible, I didn't know about it, so I looked it up, I was shocked, lol

Yes it was about wayward women but it was predicated on a young man without understanding who was out late at night (after midnight?) for no good reason, to wit:
A young man devoid[b] of understanding...
In the twilight, in the evening,
In the black and dark night.

I used to be one of those guys and I know nothing good happens after midnight.
And I know what you're saying about how bad it's gotten lately.
And I believe it's only going to get worse.
God help us.
