* Do we have a drug crisis in this country- absolutely, but the idea that folks from South of the border are " simply being let in is " ridiculous. 45 was the one that claimed the wall was " completed " and your piece suggests that the border patrol officers are stepping out of the way & letting these folks through. * l will repeat myself here because it's important: Aliens were trickling across the Southern border for decades,  no sooner did Trump annouce his plan to get a wall built that " caravans " were being put together under " his administration " the guy stirred the pot because those folk saw their chances of a better life up north evaporating. It's similar to a bank that is failing- people start withdrawing their funds because they don't want to lose everything- your guy started the Domino effect.

* You ought to stop living in a dream world where America had no problems in the Trump years. Drugs were still coming across the border, so was fentanyl. There were murders in DC this year alone, more than double number for the entire country of El Salvador in 2023.

BTW the number of DC murders so far is 213 this year, El Salvador 108 entire country.
