I thought it was very strange that a plane would go down in an open field with all that had happen in the pit ....the odds are a million to one

I just read recently that the pilots of the fighter jets tailing the flight said they were not armed to shoot down aircraft. He may have gave the order but the pilots of one fighter said they would have rammed the flight with the fighter.
My understanding from the phone calls from the flight said passengers overpowered the hi-jackers.

Yeah, but one phone call was a guy that phoned his mother and said "This is Joe So 'n So." Did you ever call your mom and state your first and last name? Also, it's said at the time cell phones didn't work at that altitude. Ah, the heros that faught the terrorists. I think that is a fairytale for public consumption.

@TigerAngel: the phone call where the caller identified himself by his first and last name to his MOTHER was my favorite lie of the Flight 93 fairy tale. Wonder if that phone call was included in the movie? ;-)

Thanx Rick! Years ago I found a website that had the transcripts of all the phone calls from the planes. Unfortunately lost the link when my old puter died and forgot the name of that website. *that's "supposed phone calls".
Your quote was one of the favorites of my ex. lol.
No, I don't think they put that in the movie, too obvious a lie.
