Employment such as selling drugs, boosting cars, pickpocketing, etc all go under the radar and thus untaxed. I always wondered if there would be means by which the state can assess the quality of life to determine if recipients are truly deserving. You can run SS#s all day and never know people living in section 8 have wardrobes that rival with Paris Hilton!

I agree with both of you a hard working person does not stand a chance.....some things I see in my store would make your hair stand straight up...I see them pay for food with there EBT card then whip out a credit card from a well known bank........

They certainly can. The IRS does it to catch tax evaders.

Jap, Michigan is loaded with people operating businesses under the table, catering ranks close to number 1, Hair a nd nails , fake purses, all kinds of illegal things, drugs, dog fighting, unlicensed clubs , many of these folks run bakery items out of their house, take out food, hot dog stands, we got casinos up the gazoo and bingo halls, lots of places to gamble, and get and get quick cash.

The "poor" not only demand to be fed and clothed and housed, they want to be entertained too.
Booze, cigarettes, pornography, strip joints, we pay for all of it now.
And it's gonna get a lot worse.

Ramone, you are one heartless wonder. You profess to know God, but deny the power thereof...this is what Jesus says about the poor...

Deuteronomy 15:11 There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.

Mark 14:7 The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me.
