Lindsey Graham: White House officials ‘scuummbags’

Sen. Lindsey Graham on Thursday again went after the Obama administration on Benghazi, calling White House officials “scuummbags” that “lied about” the September 2012 attacks.
“Our Democratic friends, for the most part, have been in the tank over Benghazi. They think it’s to get me reelected,” the South Carolina Republican said on The Mike Gallagher Show on Thursday morning. “Some guy said this about me yesterday on the left: The only reason I cared about this was because I have six tea party opponents. Well, if that’s true, I’m the biggest in America. I don’t think that’s true. I know it’s not true. It would be almost impossible for Lindsey Graham — given who I am and what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years — not to care about those in harm’s way, who get killed, and not go on to hold the administration accountable that lied about it.”
“The scuummbags are the people in the White House who lied about this,” he later added.
The Senate Armed Services Committee member had already slammed the administration about an email from deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, first obtained by Judicial Watch. Earlier this week, Graham called the email “a smoking gun” and said the White House intentionally “provided the most beneficial political story for the president” instead of telling the truth.
Rhodes’ email, sent to senior administration officials, detailed talking points for then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s appearances on the Sunday talk shows following the Benghazi attack.
Graham is just one of several notable Republicans — including Senate Armed Services members John McCain of Arizona and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia — that have harshly criticized the White House over the email.

I do like to hear the administration called out for what they are though: sh!tbags.
