Yep, we've all got the same size 'final accommodations' in the end. No BIG YOU and little me when that day comes and this quote you've posted reminds me of the song 'Trailer Hitch' by Kristian Bush. Ken Holloway also has a version of this song that's nice. The Good Book says that 'from dust you came and to dust you shall you return.' Oh, but the race to the most here on Earth is what's up according to the big playas. Does your stuff define you, or, do you define all your stuff? No, let me 'splain where 'size really matters'...no pun intended, y'all. How big is that heart that you're packin' around every single day? The muscle that if it stops just a minute too long, you're gone...at any given time. Are you walking around judging folks because they don't 'look' like you or because they don't THINK JUST LIKE YOU?

I've got news for everybody and I've said it before 'cause it's the absolute truth. We all have more in common than we do different but, if you allow a certain political group tell it, one race and political group is superior than all others...and they surely act and treat people this way. However, there is hope, though, because one thing holds true for all races and political preferences. We're not all represented by that MINUTE PERCENTAGE OF BAD ACTORS CAUSING PROBLEMS AND DIVISION. But, as for Blacks, we're still ALL thrown into the same bucket. It's okay, though, because I know that 'my tribulations here on Earth are many' and that 'they hated HIM before they hated me.' Man, that's some good stuff right there!!!!!

Now, Speedy, let me speak on your last entry concerning black movie stars and racism. Why is it that bruthas get less love for doing the same things that Caucasians do in the movies? Does it look better done in white or something? I enjoy viewing both races to be perfectly honest, and, we're going to see Jim Carey's latest movie tonight...Dumb and Dumber To. I don't have to have a brutha in this movie to enjoy it just as much, ya know. It takes mature adults to get past such nonsense. Richard Gere, Bruce Willis, Tom Hanks, Tommy Lee Jones, Clint Eastwood (even after his Presidential blunder), and a gost of others are among my favorites that I can watch any time without reserve for color.

But, let's go back and revisit something important to illustrate how racist whites think. Remember when Oprah was in Zurich at that very nice store trying to have a look at a very expensive purse? The lady, instead of getting Oprah what she asked for, insisted and brought her purses of lesser design and costs. Oprah did admit, however, that had she known the price of the bag from the get go she would've thought it was too expensive...though she could still more than afford the dam*ed bag. There were two wrong here: she was profiled as being unable to afford such a bag and she was also discriminated against when the associate refused to show retrieve that particular bag. When Oprah disclosed how she really felt, all the racists came down on her...Rush being the ring leader as usual.

Now, let's take some prominent Caucasian guy that's in some wealthy region...well known by everyone back here. He goes into a store and asked to have a look a really bad a$$ jacket, pair of boots etc. and they're very expensive. The associate is Black, or, at least has the dark skin of blacks and refuses to show this guy exactly what he wants to see. I'm not some dumb a$$ Willie Foo-Foo and believes that he'd just walk away from that situation satisfied with that associate's decisions and treatment of him regarding his inquiry. Ain't gonna happen and I'd feel that if he complained of discrimination, he'd be within his rights. But, that wouldn't happen because whites aren't profiled in this fashion AT ALL...unless they appear homeless and cloaked with somewhat ragged clothing and appear dirty.

Just to have black skin and to be present in an upscale department store warrants us to be followed, profiled, and discriminated against because 'we have no business being there.' It's a dam*ed shame that our money is the same color and purchases the same things but our skin color says it can't. We live in a great world full of bad people.

@ hearsetrax, there is nothing curious about the words. It is what it is. If you read more than that there then you are the one that's curious.
