We can wait a few weeks to see what happens.

It hit near this level back on 2014-10-11 and shot back up again.

Another reason for the wait.

Seems more often than not there's a revision next week.

Also, one low reading a trend does not make.

When they stopped extending unemployment benefits is when the pattern changed.

Some time in mid-feb to mid-mar we may have a clearer picture.

First quarter is kickoff for the year.

But, like any game, it's only the first quarter and can give a feel for the rest of the game, unless there's tampered ball in play.
