Mega Millions: Mega Millions Jackpot Grows to $112 Million
The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery has grown to $112 million dollars.
None of the tickets sold for yesterday's $96 million-dollar drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball.
The next drawing will be Tuesday.
There were 12 second-prize winners: 2 from Illinois, 3 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from Ohio, 2 from Texas, and 1 from Virginia. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win a prize of $175,000.
Also, 39 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $5,000.
The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: 4, 13, 37, 38, and 50. The Mega Ball number was 24.
The Texas Megaplier was 4.
Mega Millions is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Officials in California have announced plans to join the game later this year.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00pm Eastern Time.
