What OH should have done was partner with Michigan (and possibly other states) with its proposed bi-state game. Lotto South notwithstanding, I'd like to see more multi-state JACKPOT games similar to Hot Lotto.

I don't like this game because you can't pick all of your own numbers. and that would stop me right there, computerized drawing on top or not. quick picking is quick picking, but not allowing a person to choose an entire set of numbers if they so choose -- for $2 bucks, i can go elsewhere and feel more in control of my own destiny for bigger prizes. or play the pick 3s and pick 4s ;)

I think more than 60% of lottery players buy QPs and hope to get lucky. I doubt if more than 30% of lottery players are system players who study the games and pick their own numbers, it could be that states actually make more money by ignoring these players and having less winners. Since jackpots don't start from a zero amount, states have to invest more money to start a jackpot than roll it over. Ohio Lot'O Play jackpots start with a million dollars and only roll one to three hundred thousands dollars when they're not won. This is a trend that more states may adopt in the future if they offer a game like PowerBall or MegaMillions as their big draw game. * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

Florida will go multi-state after Jeb Bush leaves the governor's mansion.

Tonight the game reached the half way point to a $20M jackpot, the point as which I plan to play again. I bought a few tickets for the first game, won zip and haven't played since. * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

There is a sucker born every minute, we just need to make it easier for them to get across the border! How difficult is it to make the stupid feel smart? Powerball and Mega Millions do it twice a week, every week - it can't be that hard. Fewer words, bigger numbers, on the advertisement. That is all you need.
