As the old Chinese saying goes, "Kindness often meets with good recompense."
And a Shenzhen resident surnamed Wang has been deeply convinced of that.
Wang, who adopted a homeless cat two months ago, bought a lottery ticket that won him a total of 3,271 yuan ($435). He has his cat to thank. Last week Wang brought his cat with him to buy a lottery ticket.
As Wang was about to buy the ticket, the frisky feline jumped out of his arms and onto the computer keyboard, accidentally choosing Wang's lottery numbers at random.
Wang, who had complained that his cat had wasted his 10 yuan ($1.29) lottery ticket, was surprised to learn on Tuesday that his cat had actually chosen the winning numbers for him.

Emilyg this story is for you!
I wanna buy that cat!
Always try to get my daughter's cat to give us the winning numbers by counting how many times he pats his tail on the floor before getting up to move to another spot.
Hasn't won us a cent yet.
We also have him rub the ticket that we buy for big games.
This too has not given us a win.
Oh well !!
Confucious say: Black cat, white cat, no matter, as long as cat catch mice, good cat.
Confucious say: No matter how much cat fight, always plenty of kittens.
Confucious say: Cat that pick good numbers, become very fat cat.
I thought cats only played scratch tickets?
I'm on it Chou. Just read this to my kitties and told them I expect the same from them.
Is $435 the top prize? No wonder we can't compete with their wage scale.
(free trade, my @$$)
You can't have free trade if you are on the Gold Standard and China is on the Lead Standard. Its like comparing apples to oranges.
OW ! Look ASHAMED !
LOL ... seems that way
I find that story and insult to my intellingence...
Well humans are getting dummer, more and more it let's you know who is intelligent in this world...All they need is a babe to pick the numbers now...
If memory serves me I read that the Chinese government has not allowed their currency to be traded in the world market, effectively forcing its stabilization at that rate.
Also years ago the now defunct Lotto World magazine had a story about a cat picking numbers, I believe playing with a lotto pen shaker.
The method they were refering to and which this particular kitty used is called "pussyfooting".
Meow.
