This is almost surreal, this thread is as quiet as a church mouse. The past couple of weeks if you were out for just a couple of hours, you had to catch up on literally hundreds of posts to get current with everything.  Calm, quiet, peaceful. I like! Powerball is up to $60 million. No great excitement. Just normal, average and blissful. Enjoy for the moment! Not to mention LP produced another 250k winner!  Hopefully that good luck will eventually rub off on the rest of us.  Didn't win on any of my 8 tickets last night but... Got some excellent news! It's about a good paying career with excellent retirement benefits in my area from a friend of the family! It would be a big step up from what I am currently making and I could start constructing an investment portfolo from the leftover wages every month. I plan on scoping everything out later today.

All those who said "when I win Friday" won't be back until the next $300 million jackpot. They should rename the MM to Mega Bummer. I matched the MB at least, but no shock or major disappointment here. Like I said it is predictable. | | |

It is usually new members who post this looking for attention, and wanting to make others more upset or envious. Most likely he did not win squat. My neighbor was just regaling me with her version of 'pay back'. She and dh just got back from wall papering her SIL's bathroom. WITH LOOSING MM LOTTERY TIX. Evidently SIL spent **all** of the holiday family pooled present money on MM tix for last evening draw and got a return of ... zip ... so this morning in 'serves you right' mode... all the siblings went over to her house while she was getting her nails done... and now her master bathroom is wall-papered in MM-tix. (think coat of shellac over glued tix... what a MESS to get rid of!) I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. Oh wow, thts just bonanzas. I would never....I could never...she really would have been better investing in scratch-offs...even tho that's a stupid idea. For her to get zilch back, yea, she learned her lesson. | | |

Soooo Lottery fever is over, I will continue to buy my 1 power ball, 1, MM, and 1 state lotto ticket till I can win even a minor prize. Gotta b in it to win it... But hey, I hear best way to cure the lottery hangover (realizing tht gut feeling tht you were going to win was wrong) was to buy a scratch off. So I did. I bought a 3$ dollar bingo. Won 10 back. WOOHOOO!!! Take Tht MM. Hopefully the 1/195,000,000 chance of powerball jackpot smiles on me tonight. Not like I need to win a JP to maintain life, but boy would it be nice. I have seen it all here. Level 2 is slightly more believable to some. But it is also not that big of a deal to post a photo of the ticket. No one can do anything about it anyway so why not show it off? I have seen A LOT of others claim level 2 wins and never posted any proof. I know I would. I even posted proof of my $5,000 winners. But it surprises me just how many take their word for it. I don't. I am not some gullible newbie quick to congratulate without proof. So if you want to flaunt it with your gansta slang then show it homie. | | |
