This had to have been a fluke. NY should have taken this mammoth jackpot down again. I think there should be an investigation, and AZ & MO need to relinquish any claims to this drawing immediately! Shameful, just plain shameful!  It is great to see a state like Arizona win a big lottery jackpot. It was a long time since Arizona did not a big jackpot. Did you wake up finally?  Funny how during every record jackpot new members arrive claiming they won trying to rile up others and seeking attention. Face it you did not win crap. If you did post some pics of the ticket, and post your name now so when the winners are revealed they match. I guarantee that you won't do either. The Powerball is just an evil game that gets people's hopes up and makes them excited only to be severely let down and depressed once they find out they lost...again. I am not convinced that anyone actually wins it until I see a winner I know or get a winning ticket myself. I matched 2 numbers and the powerball and only played 2 tickets. I hope to win the raffle again this year also as I won $100 last year playing one ticket. I have won thousands on smaller games but I still don't trust the jackpot games 100%. Silence speaks louder than words. Ronnie has not said a word after the powerball jackpot was won. It would be funny,if he won such a big jackpot. I have yet to see anyone on here prove they won a large jackpot, but if you are going to say you did you need to prove it or you may as well say nothing. If I won I would post pics of the ticket once I had claimed it just so I could be the first member in LP history to do so. | | |

Well folks, only 2 lucky winners. I was correct on the 2 tier winners, I said there would be a whole bunch of winner on that in another post yesterday. 27 STATES had winners. 66 people in all with the 2 tier wins. Just seen on the news that 90 per cent of the numbers was quick picks. 34.00 dollars I spent on this draw. Had no winning numbers on any of my tickets. It was exciting to think about winning, but will have to wait for Saturday draw. Hey! everybody have a nice day! P.S. where is ridge runner at?? | | |

Interesting that all the white balls were below 31. The old birthday paradox method. Figured more people would have hit since all numbers were below 31. If you had 158 grand sitting around and played all the combos you would have won a cool million. You are incorrect. Even though, the selected white balls were all below 31, as you have correctly noted; the pool from which the white balls were selected remained at 59 The mathematical formula for choosing 5 balls out of 59 with no regard for the order of selection and repetition is not allowed is as follows: n!/((n-r)!(r!)); where n is 59, r is 5 and ! stands for factorial. The total combinations possible is 5,006,386 I am curious: what was the formula and rules that you used to come up with 158,000 possible combinations? | | |
