Hey Mcginnin, isn't it interesting that the winning ticket in MO was a quick pick? Just before the drawing there were many players on LP stating that QP's are no good and that self picks are the only way to win a jackpot. Hmmm....to all the QP haters:
I would love to see Todd publish an in depth article conveying both perspectives. This is the most divisive issue on LP. I am as you say a QP Hater - lol. I think we are misunderstood but the back n forth without a solid reference as mentioned above would prove futile so I won't pursue this any further. Congrats again to the legitimate winners, who turned their ticket in on time and won't wind up in any pool litigation. Do well with your winfall

The reason why Easy Picks win more is because more people buy Easy Picks than use their own numbers.

Do well with your winfall I always thought the most divisive issue here was public vs anonymous, or cash vs. annuinity. QP vs SP is probably 3rd place. It's supposed to take 15 days for the money to be collected from the various territories and be available for transfer to the winner. I see no reason why you would come forward any sooner then that. If you can't get the money may as well take the time in relative peace to seek advice and put your plans in place.

JC5 = SP PIC6 = QP used to QP on MM and PB only recently went to SP on those and now getting 1 or2 #s vs. nothing. just nice to have the option . Even some of the strongest supporters of self picks play QPs in combination with their own numbers.

They had $262.5 million in sales on this last draw....... If that's the case they forgot that tickets cost $2 now and undercharged everyone.

I am excited to know who's the lucky person from Missouri. I know that he/she couldn't believe until now that he/she have won $588 million. If you know this person, please ask him/her this question: "What particulart non-government organization would you like to help or donate?" I am just curious...
