Ohhhh your one of those type of customers!! The type of customer who's never satisfied, grumpy right from the get go. The type that an unscrupulous waitress would spit in their food/coffee! ewww Your right in staying home most of the time to eat, keeps them from dealing with an old crotchety fart like yourself!! LOL!!!!!!! thanks for exposing this se iowa cheapskate for what he is. he has been a hindrance on this site for a long time. now that he has self-admitted to being a miserable and cheap old coot i feel vindicated for all the nonsense i've spouted on here, but i've rarely been serious, just having fun stirring up the masses. this se iowa factory worker/corn seller has shown his true colors.

If selling lottery tickets didn't add to the retailers overall sales, they wouldn't sell them. If they deserve a tip for selling them then they deserve a tip for anything they sell. The clerks represent the retailers, they don't work for themselves. Why not add a 15% tip to a pack of cigarettes that always has a $2-$3 taxed added? Or why not tip another 15% on a tank of gas that $5 more than it cost yesterday? Why do clerks come on LP and start these thread about tipping clerks? Why don't tell their bosses, give me a raise or I'm quitting? * The fundamentals of winning a lottery jackpot * * play a lottery you can win *

Always remember this. You should all know it by now. It's taken directly from Rules For Ridgicals: "If the ticket's a mistake, it's a ticket you must take."™

Yay New Hampshire! I'm gonna stop at that Circle K on the way home tonight. Hopefully this clerk is working and will make another mistake! Also in response to the tipping question Cletu$2 you should be happy the servers are paid so little becuase if they were getting paid like the rest of the restaurant hourly staff you would be paying thier wages through higher menu prices. Industry average for bottom line profit is only about 4-6 cents on $1 of revenue earned. You obviously don't know the restaurant business if you think we're getting rich at the expense of our employees. There is also a positive correlation between someones tipping habits and how much they give to charity and the less fortunate which to me says much about someones character.
