They may be his cronies but his district that sent him to the State Capital may think otherwise. No one has a" safe seat " in politics. Get enough people pissed off and you history.

Thank goodness. The last thing we need is clerks acting as social police. . Plus, they probably wouldn't even want to play "big brother/police informant," anyhow for near minimum wage weekly pay.

Having millions of dollars in my financial accounts means more, consistent fun for me.

Most would just ignore the new law. Im just afraid there would be a few clerks who would want to feel the power of saying...... "Your not good enough to play the lottery" in front of all the other customers.

I like the idea of taking the "education" name out. I mean, it's a racket and we all know it. It makes me laugh! BUT... they'd have to get a real website name now, since their's has "education" in it. Btw - It had more to do with the fact there were so many anti-lottery politicians in NC and this made them happy enough to vote for it, thank God! I was tired of driving to VA to get tix! Stam said the bill will still seek to remove the word "education" from the North Carolina Education Lottery because proceeds account for a small percentage of state education funding... SMALL percentage of education funding???..weren't most lotteries developed mostly for education budgets???.. "...Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes playing a poor hand well... I don't even get Welfare or live in NC and I would've protested from Illinois for them. The American Government is shady just like every other Government. Leave that crap in the toilet where it belongs.

Maybe if those in government cared about helping people living a good life, who would need to play the lottery? It's funny that Senators or Congressmen don't need to play lotteries, because they take it from us, but we can't regulate how THEY spend it.
