It was the second time that Homer Buffaloe has hit the Cash 5 jackpot. In November 2010, he claimed half a jackpot worth $408,066. This time, Buffaloe received a check for $778,479 after state and federal taxes were withheld. The odds of matching all five numbers and winning the Carolina Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757. Buffaloe's winning numbers Sunday were 24-26-30-32-33. "The numbers just come to me," Buffaloe said. "This time felt the same as it did the last time I won it. I guess I've always been lucky. Every time I buy a ticket, I feel like I'm going to win." Buffaloe bought the ticket at the One Stop Shop at Mitchell Mill and Fowler roads, northeast of Raleigh. The previous record-holder for the largest Carolina Cash 5 jackpot awarded on a single ticket was a Greenville player who won $856,998 in November 2007. The smartest wager in any lottery is to instead of waste your time playing pick 3 or pick 4 with 50% payback is to WAIT and to spend all your money on pick 5 rollovers where the jackpots are in the 500k range. Giving you almost a true EV of 1 to 1 ( not counting taxes) . It is all I do here in Illinois. Is only play the lucky day lotto when it is over 500k. I do not need to play 50% payback games every day. I have hit 4 out of 5 a ton of times. I might not never hit 5 out of 5 but at least I put my money in when the pot dictates it not the other way around. Great job on hitting it twice buddy!

Was this the jackpot that Cincin was trying to win (where there had been a higher than normal number of JP winners)? Bonne chance à tous! Quand je gagne, nous aurons tout des crêpes avec la confiture d'oranges sur mon balcon à Paris.
