Timing is everything. If he could have only won the lottery after the divorce was finally.

Goteki, have a Snickers. Why? Because you always get angry when you have a case of the one offs on your lottery tickets. Better? No, I'm still ticked off!Hit With Stick

    GOLD DIGGER ALERT!!!

.....If your spouse's love is toxic to you, I reckon the  money should be equally toxic to you as well.

.....If your spouse is not getting the love, he/she should not be paying for loverboy/girl, banging you during their free time.

.....Trying to take all the money and more, gives a clue as to how you felt about the relationship.

.....These "stupid" judges should understand that no love equals no money.

.....Is there anybody on this forum that likes to see the community banging their spouse while they foot the bill?.

    .....NO LOVE = NO MONEY!!!.

    Right on mypie!

He's getting away cheap. She could have been awarded half his prize if in another state.

2.5 percent is  kind of low in my estimation.

      No Pity!

it said she got everything after the split! then wanted half of the winnings, so she wants more than half of everything!   I hope he pys the $10k before taxes. she can cover her own tax liablilty. he should have also demanded  half of everthing that she took when they split.

I guess thats why you shouldnt be too cheap and not  just pay for the paper work.

I think the decision was fair. They had not been living as a married couple over that entire period and it seemed a done deal they were over....they were just too lazy to file for divorce. Now if they had kept getting back together and breaking up, etc., I think she would have got far more.

It must take some skill to sign that name on the back. He must of turned the ticket sideways.
