TRENTON, NJ — Until June 16, no Pick-6 player in the New Jersey's Lottery's game had chosen all six winning numbers for 53 straight draws, a span of more than six months.
That winner has not yet come forward to claim a $20.1 million jackpot, which had grown since Dec. 12.
On Monday, yet another lottery player picked all six numbers, but, as luck would have it, or not, he or she will claim only — only! — $2.1 million.
"Now I can look forward to meeting two new Pick-6 millionaires — the winner from the June 16 drawing and the winner from last night's drawing," state lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said. "It's always a thrill to meet the winners whose lives will drastically change by this financial windfall."
Monday's ticket was bought in Belleville, at White Oak Liquors on Union Avenue. For selling that winning slip, the retailer will get $10,000, lottery officials said.
The Pick-6 jackpot has been reset to $2 million for Thursday's drawing.
Yessir! When it rains, it pours...just never in my pockets haha
These lotto 6/49 games are tricky. I never know if i should play or just focus on the MUSL games. I skip many draws when the jp resets especially here in MA where the beginning jp is .5M dollars.
Congrats to the winners , enjoy!
Congratulation to the winners
Congrats to both winners!! Lady Luck is shining brightly upon them!
I had four out of the six but don't pay much for four, and should pay more!
However,so happy to read this!
I am so happy for the winners!
so awesome.2 big winners, within same month is pretty rare
for New Jersey Pick-6 game.
felicidades!!!
Don't forget to play the pick 5. It has nice jackpots and there are many winners, which occurs on a regular basis.
The JC5 is the daily # for me.
Also I will continue to buy at least 1 tix. per drawer for this 6/49 game
xtra tix. when the JP gets bigger,
that helped me break my MM habit, as did the new cash for life game.
