State to end televised drawings of lottery
Wisconsin Lottery: State to end televised drawings of lottery
Wisconsin Lottery officials said Monday they will no longer broadcast nightly drawings live on television and will stop producing a weekly game show that had aired for more than a decade. Cancelling the broadcasts reduces expenses for the state lottery. Acting lottery director Michael Edmonds says all lottery profits will be directed toward property tax relief. Edmonds said the broadcasts will stop as of Jan. 1. Drawings will continue to be monitored by Capitol Police and an independent auditing firm.

Least you should forget ,John Gotti's mother-in-law won the New Jersey lottery, Pa. lottery balls were weighted with mercury to the benefit of lottery insiders, Ill has has 2 known crime heads win the lottery and on and on. The first lottery of this nation was cancelled, I believe, due to corruption! You should also remember that even if the whole thing was rigged they would still have to let a few of us outsiders win in order to keep the sham going so play and enjoy yourself. you may just be one of the lucky ones. Best wishes to all of you.

Pa lottery balls were not weighted with mercury, they were weighted with clear nail polish. Mercury would have been noticed. That is the case that I already mentioned in another thread today. So what if relatives of mobsters won?? I'm sure relatives of priests have won in the past too. Lottery games are the great equalizer - anyone can win. Lots of people believe in conspiracy theories, but generally I am not one of them.

I think the people in that state should boycott the lottery for a few days and see what the state does then. I would not bet on the lottery if I did not see the drawings. That is one of Pa mistakes with the day time draw.Plus the cut off to bet is 1:00P.M. and the draw is not till 1:30 P.M. the night cut off is 6:55 P.M. and the draw is 7:00P.M.
