Maryland Lottery: Md. Lottery Pays Out $7M In Prizes On Single DrawingPlayers To Receive $5,000 Per $1-Ticket Wager
Players in Maryland's Pick Four game were the winners and the state lottery agency was the loser when the numbers came up 1111.
The lottery said it will pay out just over $7 million in prizes on Sunday night's drawing. Lottery Director Buddy Roogow said players who picked the winning number with a $1 straight wager will receive $5,000 for each ticket they bought.
Initial reports indicate Pick Four players wagered a total of nearly $348,000. The lottery sold just over 2,800 tickets for the game.
