The latest Ohio Lottery instant games are called EZPLAY Games, and they go on sale April 14, 2008.

EZPLAY Games are instant play-style games generated through the Altura terminal. Everything you need to play is on each EZPLAY Game ticket.

The first two games are BINGO and TIC TAC TOE. Every ticket comes with two games — two chances to play and win!

Every EZPLAY Game ticket is generated at the time of purchase with a set of numbers/symbols on it. Players simply match their play numbers/symbols to see if they won. It's that easy!

All EZPLAY Game tickets will include a date and time stamp. Validate winning tickets through the Altura terminal just like any other Ohio Lottery game.

Starting today, April 2, 2008, all Powerball states will be offering Powerball players the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by 10.

During April, the game's Power Play feature, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes between two and five times, depending on the Power Play number drawn, will include a multiplier of 10.

If 10 were drawn as that evening's multiplier, a player holding a $200,000 prize-winning ticket for that specific drawing would win $2 million if the wager includes Power Play.

Power Play costs an additional $1 per play per drawing. The "Power Play 10X" promotion kicks off with the April 2 Powerball drawing and runs through the April 30 drawing.

Tickets for South Carolina's newest lotto game go on sale Monday, February 4, 2008.

With MegaMatch 6, South Carolina becomes the latest state to introduce a "Match 6" style game, in which the player can win multiple times by matching the numbers drawn to more than one line of numbers.

Jackpots start at $550,000, and continue to grow every time none of the tickets sold match the top prize. Once a ticket wins the top prize, the jackpot starts again at $550,000.

Here's how to play MegaMatch 6:

Ohio Red Ball promotion runs from February 1 - March 1, 2008.

For this promotion, a total of 7 additional balls will be placed in another draw machine. At each drawing during the promotional period, the host will draw the numbers from the Pick 3 machine. Immediately following that draw, a separate drawing will be conducted from a machine that contains 7 balls, 6 white and 1 Red Ball.

If the Red Ball is drawn, the prize payout will increase by approximately 20%.

Any time that a white ball is drawn, the white ball will be removed from the machine in subsequent draws until the Red Ball is drawn. After each Red Ball is drawn, all 7 balls are placed back in the machine for the next

[ View complete description ]
