      <description><![CDATA[$10 is more reasonable than the $20 cost for a Florida raffle ticket, although Florida offered bigger prizes. Even $5 would make a raffle a lot of fun for everyone. I'm sure there were a lot of people here who wanted to buy a raffle ticket, but $20 for one ticket was too much.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[For $10, the Oregon Lottery says the odds of becoming a millionaire will be better than than the average lottery ticket.<br /><br />The lottery is offering its first raffle, with a guaranteed $1 million jackpot to be announced on March 17, St. Patrick's Day. The drawing is scheduled for 8 p.m. Pacific Time.<br /><br />Beginning Sunday, the lottery will sell 250,000 tickets for $10 each, making the odds of winning the jackpot 1-in-250,000 a long shot but far better than Powerball, at 1 in 195 million, or Megabuc...
