well the mission was to get a dc lotto ticket and a md lotto ticket. well i came up short. my friend was supposed to pick me up at 5 and she got delayed by an hour. we went out to dinner and finally got to a Giant super market here to get some money. well this one limited me to 50 dollars. i went to the powerball counter and it was closed. it seemed that DC closed it's machines at 7:30. well i was highly disappointed so we headed out to maryland. on the way we were passing this liquor...

computerized draws are not fair
i don't like the fact that some states have computerized draws.there is a rumor that even hot lotto has gone computerized.this would be a devastating blow if that is true because when a state sees that even jackpot games are going computerized it could start a dangerous trend.the last thing i want to see is states jumping on the computerized bandwagon.so many players are being cheated..........

something odd with the odds
The odds in a 5/39 game are 1:575,757 right? Well I surfed over to West Virginia's official lottery website last night and noticed their odds were 1:607,744 for matching 5of5 in the Hot Lotto game. 5/39 with 19 bonus balls. Those odds excluded the bonus ball. I went back tonight just to make sure. Are the odds in WV computed different than in other states:-? Someone please tell me cause it don't compute to me....
