War of the Worlds
I'm looking forward to seeing the new movie as it opens tomorrow. I'm a big fan of the 1953 classic George Pal film, although I understand that the new movie will be much more like the original H.G. Wells book than the 1953 movie. I just pray that there will be a minimum of touching or cutsie Spielberg moments, and a maximum of cool, hip movie-making....
