Since we have Mega Millions in New Mexico, I am playing Powerball, too. I think I will purchase one or two tickets for Mega Millions with the Megaplier, and one or two tickets with Powerball with the Power Play. I probably will not play Hot Lotto as much -- unless it is a large jackpot.

I was surprised to see some of the outcomes of winning. The saddest was the guy from Chama, New Mexico whose family no longer speaks to him including his own mother. He seemed like the nicest guy you could ever meet. He must have had some real losers for family though for that to happen.

i really liked rip snorter.he had a damn good blog going there for a while and always had colorful and interesting posts to pretty much any topic.i think he had a few run ins with a couple members here and just quietly faded to the background.he was still predicting here long after he quit posting you would still see him predicting.i think he is a very cool guy.my brother lives in arizona and i had told rip i wouldn't mind stopping to see him on the way in new mexico.i haven't took that trip yet

Readers should be aware that the article was written for people in Texas, which is a community property state. While most of the information likely applies elsewhere as well, not everything will. Those playing the lottery in non-community property states, especially, will find a few differences. It is my understanding that there are only nine community property states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

jack,new mexico uses the RNG.its a computer drawn state.interesting fact most people don't know is that every state west of the mississippi river uses computer draws except texas and oklahoma.the reverse holds true in the fact that almost every state east of the mississippi uses ball draws with the exception of two or three states.

my brother lives in arizona and the only thing he plays there is powerball.you did the right thing by not moving there.almost every single state out west is computerized!! the whole west coast is computerized including california,oregon,washington.not to mention arizona,new mexico and colorado.
