They each got 1 million. there were 3 2nd place winners in Massachusetts, Jane Busby is one of them, here she is displaying her 1 million dollar check this The pick 3, 4, and 5 games unfortunately are not in all states is not accurate. Actually, there are 5 states that do not sell any lottery. Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah.

Who else here is sick of their current life & want to escape (Lotto related)
Alaska? Be prepared for the beauty of the Mountains. You need airplanes to get around the State. Plus the Sun never sets in Summer. Here is a riddle, You live in a building with all four walls facing South. What color is the bear? Answer: You will be living on the North Pole so the bears there are Polar Bears. White in color, indeed.

If you won the lottery/ Powerball, your dream vacation?
weshar75, This is the perfect time of year to see Alaska on a cruise ship. The weather should be calm. Children are in school. Experiences like cruises are a far better investment than things. You will talk about your trips forever while things lose their appeal. For example, remember your trips as a child. You will never forget them. May you have calm seas and the wind at your back.

Movies and Your Workout.
I don't live in Hawaii, or Alaska, so I don't really consider volcanos when I play the lottery. But I would be really pissed if my numbers came out and I couldn't play due to Vulcan. Long live, prosper and pretend to play the lottery CoinToss.

Do you think Powerball will spread to the 6 remaining non-playing states?
With the representatives of Alabama finally seriously considering getting Powerball, do you think the representatives of Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Utah or Nevada will try to follow suit?

Lottery Wins From Out of State
PrisonerSix Given the way that guy from overseas kept repeating this thing about playing Megabucks from out of state, I thought everybody in LP had picked up on it. It is the perfect setting for lottery enthusiasts who live in Mississippi, Alaska, Alabama, Utah and Nevada where there is no state lottery available. Crazy Wombat taxes are paid at source of income. 5% state and 25% Federal would be withheld if you win big in MA. The Megabucks Doubler jackpot is $4.8M so I would encourage you all

What is your lotto dream?
My lotto dream is to have enough to enjoy a lot of travel - at least 3 months per year. Business or first class flights only. Four and five star accommodation. Great food and wine. Memorable experiences - Machu Picchu in Peru, the Galapagos Islands, Italy, Croatia, St. Petersburg Moscow, the Great Wall of China, Bali, Denali in Alaska, seeing the Northern Lights, cruise the Antarctic, stay in some of the great old lodges in our National Parks, sail the South Pacific, safari in Africa, etc., etc.

Paranoid...or Prepared?
You have nine states without income tax: Alaska, Florida (your home state), Nevada, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, New Hampshire and Tennessee. Out of these nine states, only two have taxes on dividends or interest income, New Hampshire and Tennessee. Check us out in NH CDana, if you can handle the interest tax? Or perhaps you could look up your best buddy rdgrnr in TN., pick up some of his vintage homemade moonshine for you and the Mrs.
