Burbot? Never seen one. I've only caught them on PS4 in Alaska. Ugly fish. Supposed to be a delicacy with buttery flavor. Still ugly. G

Jackpot ** BILLBOARD ** pics...
Yes, it's that time in the history of MM again, when the Jackpot tops a NEW record. Let's all get our cameras in focus and snap a pic of YOUR state's billboard to capture this unique milestone in MM's reach for the sky. Perhaps between now and next Tuesday, the $1.6b will move even higher toward $2.0b. Be the first in YOUR state to post that pic HERE and help create a SPECIAL PHOTO ALBUM, never before seen at this level. Maybe the the state legislatures of Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Uta

$ick of this USA country & will move when I HIT BIG JACKPOT
Yeah, lots of Japanese tourists on Hawaii, too. But living in Hawaii is pretty expensive. Alaska, too, for that matter (and too cold for me). In Hawaii, tourism is one of its major industries. On Guam, it is the number one industry ... with hotel taxes paying a lot of the taxes residents used to pay. Anyhoo, I mentioned the Guam alternative because I used to live there ... and enjoyed it even back then. Typhoons are no more of an issue than hurricanes would be in South Carolina or Florida. No

For those who complain about what states win
I cant understand why people do not understand that it's simply a function of where the most people live. California is the most populated state in the union, followed by Texas, New York and Florida. Notice all of those states sell more tickets than most other states? It's a lot like the electoral college... The states with the most people have the most influence (votes) in Presidential elections. And, the states with the most people have the most Representatives/Congressional districts in T

You win the powerball or mega millions, Taxes owned??
Now, let's say I invest the 57 million in something that pays both a dividend and can appreciate/depreciate in value starting January 1, 2015. I exit this investment on Jan 15, 2016 (over a year later); a dividend of 5 million is paid July 1, 2015. The $57 million invested also grew to 65 million from 1/1/2015 to 1/15/2016. For the dividend (in April 2016 for fiscal year 2015), I will pay any state/local income, federal income (40%), and medicare tax (up to 3.8%) owed. In April 2017 when I fi

Would you move to a non income tax state if you won?
If I would move... 1. Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska Nevada WAS on the list at one time, but I sort of dropped it. Otherwise, stay in Wisconsin unless Scott Walker gets relected. Minnesota is back on the list. I've developed a liking for Hawaii, free fruit all year. Maybe the northeast. Cali was off the list, looking better now..... Maybe Australia, New Zealand, Canada My favorite piece of land is in wyoming. Tax is NOT the number one issue. I defferred my vote.

Would you create JOBS if you won the lottery?
Take care of family with winnings after paying about 1/2 in taxes. Getting close to retirement here. Like to spend summers in Alaska and high-tail it back down south to Texas for winters. Like to help out the people in southern Indiana that got hit with the bad wx. Still got a soft spot for Indiana. Opening a business?? Had a Pack-n-Ship Store for a couple years. Buy low and sell high, keep expenses to a minimum helps the business stay in business. Best Luck to All with hopes and dreams,
