Lotto Georgia vs Lotto South
konane said: Lotto South has been dying a slow death for over a year, they just haven't pushed it over yet... Doesn't matter who else joins Lotto South, I want Georgia out ASAP and Lotto Georgia once a week, 6/46 back. We have both the poplulation demographics plus other states border exposure to pull in sufficient revenues to support Lotto Georgia and then some. Hey Georgia Lottery,Are You Listening?!Gives us back the game we loved to play!Lotto Georgia in 2006!

Lotto Georgia vs Lotto South
Lotto South will never be able to compete with Mega Millions and Power Ball. It appears that Kentucky intends to drop out of Lotto South, and Georgia should follow suit.

Lotto South coming to an end??
This is from the VA lottery Thank you for your email. Kentucky, Georgia and Virginia are all currently in the process of analyzing the Lotto South game. Ticket sales have been decreasing and the states are looking into possible changes. At this time, Lotto South will remain the same with all three states participating. Please contact us with any further questions.

Super Lotto South
If you goggle online, you should be able to find the memorandum where the South Carolina lottery officials decided they were interested in joining Lotto South on the condition that one of the dates was moved. The document should indicate that they planned to make the request to Lotto South officials.

To all Lottery Post members
I'm sorry that my recent post about Louisiana joining Lotto South was not viewed the way I expected. What I meant was that the LA Lottery, and the state government, if necessary, AFTER things return as close to normal as possible, should persue joining Lotto South.Again, I'm sorry about how my message was received.

Super Lotto South
That was a great idea for Lotto South to increase the number of white balls from 49 to 54. I'm happy to see that people can also win a prize if they get 2 numbers plus the bonus ball. When CA dropped 2 WB from 53 to 51, sales decline until CA SLP stepped in June 2000. When does the new Super Lotto South begin?

What's So Great About Lotto South?
I simply would like to see Lotto South get bigger, with a new matrix. I also would like Hot Lotto to expand further. MUSL states in the South (like SC) should go with LS.

TN LOTTERY-hot lotto or lotto south?
Hmmmm, interesting. You either want a much bigger Lotto South, or a much smaller Lotto South. I'd love a 2 for a dollar game. Then again I'd love any two for a dollar game.

TN and lotto south?
I sent a letter to VA too. They said any state southern is welcome to join lotto south. TN could have it if they want it. I also sent a letter to GA and they also agreed lotto south would be welcome in any southern state.

New NC Lottery
Let me tell you why that would be bad for NC and all other Lotto South players. Take a look at the census projections, and you'll see by 2030, North Carolina will become the 7th most populous state, with over 12 million people, and will peck over 10 million by 2015. That's way too many people to add without becoming like a 6/56. Other states would be good for Lotto South, but not North Carolina, not with it's rapid growth.
