.......if you won 500 million
It might be a worthy cause to help the New Orleans folks by buying the NO French Quarter at whatever the going price is today, haul it by rail to San Marcial, New Mexico, on the Rio Grande. That's a town been wiped out by floods several times until it was finally abandoned.Haul it there, reconstruct it brick by brick, and wait for the next frog strangler.Jack

Massachusetts Lottery - In JimmyVision
I'm advocating getting rid of the confusing Numbers Game and replacing it with separate Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, including midday and evening draws. I think that's a pretty straight-forward suggestion. As an option, I'd love to see a game like New Mexico's 4 This Way, which in my opinion is the best Pick 4 game out there. With the terrible downside that it's a computerized drawing in New Mexico.

computerized drawings
The New Mexico Lottery's website has a FAQ section that tells a lot about their use of RNG's. At least they own up to it in a forthright fashion. Many state lotteries seem to be trying to avoid talking about their use of RNG's. I found New Mexico's FAQ pages to be both interesting and informative. For answers, they have one of the best state lottery websites that I've found.http://www.nmlottery.com/News/RNG_FAQ.htmGood luck, aye'

rjoh - don;t forget to post.
Don't feel alone, it didn't work in South Carolina, Vermount, Virgina, West Virgina,New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maine, New Mexico, Pennsyvania, Michigan, Minnesota, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky and Louisiana. Did I miss any one? It worked because there were over 30 states with pick3 drawings, statistically you can't be wrong in all of them, maybe the next challenge should be to pick 25 numbers that will not hit anywhere in the USA.RJOh

Do you really want the publicity?
Yes, I'm still around and I do read the Lottery Posts! However, a bit of telephone information from the PIO, Public Information Officer in my state, New Mexico. The question I posed was: if I when the New Mexico lottery, can I remain anonymous? His response was: in the old days, yes, but since the legislature passed a new law, no! If a person wins the lottery, his or her name and his or her city will be given (public information) but the winner has the option to have his or her picture tak

For you, are these the best of times or the worst of times, economically?
For me, I am fortunate enough to be working at a state youth correctional facility and we are filled to capacity! Unless the facility closes and relocates to Las Cruces, New Mexico because the legislators want to build a newer and larger facility in Las Cruces, this move may affect me because I don't want to travel the distance. This new facility idea was on the drawing board before the economy declined. Now, the state has a job freeze, Governor Richardson is moving to bigger and better pport

Biggest reason for Lottery Winners going broke soon? :/
The New Mexico lottery maybe shut down by politicians who think people spend too much. We will find out soon enough.
