CA's Multi-State Game.
If its going to be powerball, then they will definitely have to change the game (in my opinion).Every big state, so far, has joined Mega Millions. I hope they join Mega Millions if they are going to join a multi-state game.

Prediction Winners for 5/28/2004
Bob:Multi-state games, including the tri-state games, are counted as one game only. You don't win once for each state. However, Iowa and Illinois, even though they use the same numbers, are not multi-state games, and therefore are treated as different games. If you choose to bet both you have the ability to win double, but you also have the ability to lose double.I have decided to treat Massachusetts as a Pick 4 game only. This was discussed at length in another thread.

Quote: Originally posted by pbroker on March 02, 2004 I was wondering if someone from Iowa could post 3 or 4 daysof recent daily game and pick-4 results. I was doing researchfor a multi-state daily game system we're working on and it seemsto me that the Iowa and Illinois drawings (at least for the last 2 weeks)duplicate each other exactly. TX to join Powerball!
Thankyou Orangeman :)I agree that 2 step will die. Well, changing the Lottery Executive Director every few years as they have done doesn't help. Everybody has a different idea about what to do, and all these implemented changes make the players game suffer. I read that Gov Perry will veto joining a multi-state game, but what I'm reading now sounds like he'll pass it. So, we'll have to wait see on this one. I think we will join in the end tho.

will they be bumping up lottery from extra sales ?
I suppose sales in Ohio and New York (which never sold a multi-state game until MM started) have more than offset any lower sales from the seven holdovers from Big Game due to the longer odds.

NY LOTTERY 30% ALIEN FEE?
EZ: The only reason I'm making this suggestion is because the NY Lottery is NOT allowed to let players choose AFTER they win. Since almost all players want the lump sum anyway, and that NY finally has a multi-state game, changing the NY Lotto game to include an all-cash format should seriously be considered.

HOW TO PLAY THE BIG GAME ONLINE
What's up with all of the sites that claim you can buy Big Game Tickets but you have to join some kind of pool or club?I just want to buy myself a few Big Game Tickets but do not live in one of the States that participates in this particular multi-state Lottery. The only site that I have found that looks as if they can do this for me has been down for several days. Any ideas?

OFFICIAL: New BG odds 1:135 million!!
Well ... we have Big Game adding 2 new sizable states. Plus we have a shuffling with the games matrix and the subsequent jacking of the odds. Jumbo Jackpots ( and more often) are in the future. What is the next move? Will PowerBall try to sign up the remaining states? Will they uptheir odds??Or how about this ............ California, Texas and Florida teaming up to form their own personal multi-state game?Rob
