When you are in a slump/losing streak how do you change things up?
Scratchers are indeed very dangerous and potentially addictive, and you can lose a lot more playing them. It's their deceptive nature of having easy wins, high payouts and instant feedback that sets them apart from draw games, where you may have to wait a few days for feedback, and you know your wins are few and far between. But I don't play them like most people, hardly ever scratch them in store, and set a stop loss limit. I also track and analyze them in great detail. There's a lot more

When you are in a slump/losing streak how do you change things up?
If you absolutely have to win something then play the Numbers game (First 3, Any order) and you will win more often than on scratch tickets and the big games (PB, MM, MB, MC, L4L). Actually, with Scratch games you will both win more often and win back a higher percentage than any draw/online games. Scratch games give you around 1-in-3 to 1-in-4 chances of winning anything. And they have a total payout upwards of 70% or more whereas most draw games only have 50% total payout, and much highe

i'm new to this
With MM coming to Washington state, I would like to see your lottery make two changes to your existing games: 1) Replace Quinto with a pick-5 ALL-NUMBER game (the playing card theme works much better with scratch games) and 2) scrap Lucky for Life (the $1000/wk-for-life grand prize also makes more sense in scratch-off games.) A pick-5 ALL-NUMBER game should be drawn more often than 2x/week in place of Quinto and LFL .

Are more people addicted to scratch offs or draw games?
Hi everyone, Just curious if people are more addicted to scratch off's or draw games? Personally I think it's much easier to have an addiction to scratch offs. One of the reasons I had to put myself on a budget was due to my slight addiction to the scratch off's. Sometimes I would buy scratchers daily or every other day and then get so bummed out when I only got back the face value of the ticket or most of the time won nothing. For some reason I never had a problem being addicted to the draw

Giving out lottery tickets for Christmas?
In NY give Mega Millions tickets and/or Instant Take Five scratch tickets ($1 each) as gifts. Do NOT buy a NY Lotto subscription as the payout is only 40%.Elsewhere all games are good except MA Megabucks, OR Lose for Life, PA Unlucky for Life, and various annuity-only scratch games (including lifetime prizes).
