Yes, sounds as if he has taken religion and quit trying to gamble, there are many ways of seeing gambling, one is as a job, like for LottoMike, payMeNow and some others, after all most of us have to work and to some gambling is just a job same as any other, nothing wrong with that morally that I can see, to some others is just a past time something fun to do, I can't see wrong with that either, other reasons might not be so good.
