Excel Question
When I copy and paste lottery results from various sites into an Excel spreadsheet and the number is in the x-x-x format (has dashes), Excel reads the number as a date. Is there any way that I can reformat the x-x-x number not to read as a date but instead as a number XXX? I can't seem to figure this one out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

This looks really promising. I want to help, if I can. Will you create a simple step by step Legend for us to better understand what you have done and are doing. So far, I am understanding that you have gone back through the PA daily Lottery Results by position and totaled the number of occurrences for each of the ten (0-9) that followed. Then based on the digit that has followed most often, will then become the predicted digit to play in that position?

WTG CONGRATS BaristaExpress.Now if you keep the breakdown lists with lead pointer #'s in front of you print out the Custom Lottery Results each day you will see how many hits come off of those lists travel through the states. You don't need any extra figures for AVTS, just the data file. The UK main lottery results give a shape like a tetrahedron. This is only part of the attractor since it's only one trajectory, but I'm guessing whole thing has the same basic shape, like the Sierpinski Tetrahedron, some beautiful models of which you can see here:http://www.public.asu.edu/~starlite/sierpinskitetrahedron.html

I have thought about the different approaches to trying to predict lottery results.The idea of using Visual Recurrence Analysis and Neural Networks sounds smart since they look for patterns in physical draws and not just statistics.Another thing which can be used is Markov Chains. Don't know much about this yet. A Markov Chain program can be downloaded from saliu.com.I think we just have to give up the idea of forecasting a whole draw. Finding ways to predict one or two key numbers would be suff
