NY lottery winner contemplates moving to Paris
Beautiful study/library. I have a friend here in town who has a library in an extra bedroom; when the power goes out, he and his wife go in there to sleep- with books on all four walls, it's the best insulated room in the house!

SC Lottery to end Carolina Cash 6 game
How unfortunate, they should study the market first before they launch this game. I wonder why they didn't make any revisions to address the concern of the players and satisfy them. Getting rid of the game will definitely cost them a lot.

Fla. senator proposes online Florida Lottery sales, again
I agree with online sales, it is quite accessible to the players. They need to study really hard so that they can create system to prevent minors from playing. It definitely has it's advantage and disadvantage.

Bid to privatize Pa. Lottery's management extended by a week
I think the extension of the bid is beneficial to the Pennsylvania Lottery's management is good so they can attract other bidders. They will have ample time to study the offer of different bidder. They need to opt for the best bidder the one that will generate good revenue for the state.

Arkansas Lottery Commission to revisit monitor games
They need to study if having monitor games will boost their revenue. I guess survey will do to make sure that players will like to have this kind of games or not, besides aside for revenue players should be satisfied too. Having a lot of scholars they need more funds to finance those students and this might be a good way to increase they sales.

Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.
I think that these changes are going to attract the average players when the jackpot gets really high. People that study lotteries or track them will probably play less until the jackpot shoots up really high. Just my two-cents.

$222 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot rolls again
nahhhhh, I always use Powerplay. Can I afford $10? Yes, many times that but I believe in the thrifty approach. I do study the numbers and try different strategies. This thrift enabled me to pay my home off wayyyyy before a lot of other people my age could and have a nice growing retirement account. Sensible is my middle name. lol Less is more.

NAACP wants Texas Lottery shut down
Point taken, but it's not the National organization or even the Texas organization that wants the lottery banned. The Dallas chapter of the NAACP wants to stop seeing low income Texans pumping money into the state lottery by putting it out of business. The problem was actually started when the Texas Lottery Commission did a study and published it. They probably didn't think a small group in North Dallas would demand the lottery closed because of what they found. Dr. Juanita Wallace eithe

Illinois Lottery to add Powerball online ticket sales
The bill moved to the Senate 62-47, only two votes above the bare minimum needed for passage. The measure also calls for a study on how online lottery sales impact convenience stores and other retailers that sell lottery tickets. You must have missed that part because it was the state Senate that called for the study. I got the figures from the Illinois Lottery 2010 Annual Report so it's obvious the lottery doesn't need a consultant/tax crusader (whatever that means). I suppose the Senat

Kansas Mega Millions winner claims jackpot anonymously
What is your point? it is still stupid. I think you need a history lesson because the government does not give a crap what is best for anyone except for themselves. My life is not so bland that I sit around and study government history. The government is nothing but a corrupt system only interested in how much it can take from others, and can't even offer the same rules for everyone.
