How to play the lottery following patterns?
The difficulties of playing the lottery with conventional combinatorics. If we observe the combinations of numbers, their occurrences seem relatively rare. For instance even with Fantasy5, a lottery in Florida that provides good chances, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1:376.992, and it's drawn daily. Theoretically, you have to play it for about 1000 years for a combination to be repeated. You stand a better chance of winning with extended sets of numbers, even though it has the d

Mathematics and the Lottery
There was some added remarks on that thread so I am not sure who wrote this...but I wanted to correct it..because if I read this right...I KNOW ITS WRONG... (The only record of lottery digit history is the pairs) NOW that STATEMENT is ABSOLUTELY WRONG...I will INFORM YOU that there are 2 other FIELDS running with your PAIRS....AND YOU HAVE..... 0-9 SINGLE DIGITS...AND THEY HOLD AS MUCH needed INFORMATION AS YOUR pairs.. 00-99...A PAIR...those to also have much needed informatio

What Does It Take To Win (Mathematically Speaking?)
I agree with Truecritic here...RickG is one of the good guys here at LP..I am not going to speculate on what system he uses or anyone uses..as a younger man ,,hahahhahaha..when I FIRST JOINED LP..I did a lot of reading and saw what most people were doing or trying to do and I made a VERY BOLD STATEMENT back them..I simplely came out and said..I think everyone of yall are going IN THE WRONG DIRECTION with your system....of course being new here I kinda got slammed...hahahaha But I held my

Heads or Tails
I understand the rationale of using 50/50. It is the simplistic term for saying 'it will occur, or it won't.' Those are the possibilities in a singular event. In that light, lottery drawings are not a singular event no more than three people consecutively tossing a coin. We accept it as singular for a matter of convenience. But in reality a lottery drawing it a short series of multipe events taken as a singular, the same as if you toss a coin, then I toss a coin, and a third person tosses

Help with mathematical averages
Florida Cash 3 like most Pick3/4 must show BIAS, I guess. So much for my averages. The Fla Cash3 3rd position # One continues on its COLD no win path while the 3rd position # Nine appear to be cooling down with only 11 wins in last six months. ACcelerating/Decelerating Heating up/Cooling Down? 3rd Position #One (1) remains compared to 3rd Position # Nine (9) which has won: 8 Xs in 6 mos compared to a decreasing 11 wins 20
