What do you use for statistical analysis?
I have been using the test draws for the powerball.. and breaking the numbers down by draw machine and ball set... so far I have done this by hand.. does anybody know a way I can do this with software.. the other website I used is THE LUCKY GENE ... good website.. good software wheels.. but does not analyze the test draw data so I am stuck here now... I could use some help... are we able to exchange phone numbers on this website.. I am based out of Massachusetts if anybody is local.. we could g

649 formula
Mathhead, When you said, ...the article says exactly what I have been saying all along, namely: the only way to improve your odds is to purchase more tickets (lines). , you said it all! And your description of the roll down clinches it. This horse was beaten to death in April but these people are so desperate to prove we are wrong that they've picked up their clubs yet again. They apparently want people to believe that the syndicates that expoited the Roll Down were using previous dr

The Science Of Pick Patterns
I don't know. I found the website (pickpatterns.com) on a post from the Court TV Boards about a court case where the State of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts are trying to close down a website. Appearently the states are taking big hits on Pick 3 4 Lottery Games and they site that the website is the cause. The case was thrown out. Then there was a blurb on CNN last weekend. Here is the CourtTV link. http://boards.courttv.com/showthread.php?s= postid=7868001#post7

Quantum Physics
It's interesting how people who win frequently or win really big never give any impression that they read tea leaves, use quantum equations or have the help and wisdom of gods and spirits to figure out their numbers to play. All winning cases I hear about are either the quick pick variety or the odd person who always played the same numbers (usually sentimental numbers like birthdays) for decades and finally had luck with them. Even the profiles of most winners, like Whittaker and the recent cas

Neural Net Lottery Picker
This post concerns the best strategy for using either the Neural Net Lottery Picker (NNLP) software or the Perceplotron software to beat the new Massachusetts All or Nothing game I have fully described the new Massachusetts All or Nothing game in elsewhere in another post on this website. I will summarize the relevant part very briefly here: This game is a pick 12 numbers from 24 numbers game in which picking all 12 numbers correctly gets you the $100,000 dollars grand prize and getti

Mathematics and the Lottery
I would love to be better at math, to solve the lottery! I don't think such a thing is possible but even if you could figure a way to always stay ahead of the game it would be changed or eliminated. Look what happened to Massachusetts' Win Fall game once the general public became aware that someone was doing that by simply buying a lot of tickets during its roll down. Most people play lotteries because they feel they can be as lucky as the next player and possible win. If they thought kn

Middle of tweeking this system ( PROFITS- Day 180 + $4,123)
..........remember until you share ,it is not a system. Did you come up with that line on your own or did you read it somewhere else? Once in a while, there's a story about someone or group using a system or strategy to beat the odds of winning more than it cost to play lottery games such as the Michigan couple who traveled to Massachusetts to spend $300K to win their game when there was a row-down and lotteries investigate them and if they have overlooked such a possibility they either d

Excel Assistance
If someone could help me with this problem in excel, then the lottery would be solved! If it was that easy, it would have been done by now. When I read earlier this month about the Michigan couple who traveled to Massachusetts to spend $150K exploiting its lottery rundown, it proved there are plenty of folks who are looking for ways to beat the lotteries and willing to spend the money and time to do it if it is at all possible.

Calculating odds for a subset of numbers
You are misreading the odds on that chart. They are saying the odds of the winning 5+1 combination being among your 200K combinations are 1:879 not 75% and your odds of picking the winning combination from them could be zero. You made an assumption that the charts shows is not true. If you physical have 200K combinations, check them again with previous drawings. When MM had a jackpot of a half billion dollars, don't you think if players had a 75% chance of winning it with only 200K of tickets
