Lotto South almost $20 millionReply
Kentucky has both Powerball and Lotto South on the same nights. They need a game that complements the larger game by drawing on different nights. The difference in odds between 1/14 million and 1/12.2 million is about 13 percent. I'd like to see them improve the odds by reducing the matrix to 6/44 (Florida) or by providing extra plays for each dollar (Oregon) or some other dollar amount (Maryland).

This gives the consistent player optimism. Just when you think, Oh what the hell, you see something like this and you believe your number is coming one day. I wonder when Maryland will produce its next Jackpot Winner. And of course, this is no surprise, I hope its me! (smile)

Mag the cash payout for PB in Delaware is as follows 109,500,000 (no state tax). Maryland can't hit it for taxes until you claim it on the state income tax form when ever you have to file in that state.

Their last chance for keeping the game alive is for North Carolina to pick Mega Millions and they also consider adding Lotto South. Adding South Carolina and perhaps Maryland, as well as retaining Georgia, would create the possibility of an Atlantic Coast Conference Lotto. This would all necessitate a realignment of the drawing dates and a larger matrix.

del:I don't know for sure about Maryland, but some games (certain scratch tickets, as well as MA Megabucks) are still annuity-only. Neither OR Lose for Life nor PA Unlucky for Life have a cash option.

Good day all,On the question of Maryland lotto changing, I don't feel it will. This game has been with us for so long, and I think that the revenue from it is allocated to someone or something in someway that Msla will not get rid of it.
