Why Quick Picks win...Hint: It's *NOT* what you think, folks!
Although I play my own numbers every week, I also buy QPs once in a while and agree that many times the numbers don't follow any type of logical sequence. However, I believe when we are dealing with games with odds exceeding 1:140 million or even the state lottery games with odds over 1:20 million, there ARE NO logical number sequences. I mean, if out of over 100 million possible combinations only 6 balls are drawn, the so-called experts are spitting into the wind. If you were playing Blackja

Crossing state lines.
I apologize for voting yes since I never cross the state line any more. I read your post after I voted and you were only referring to the current game. oops! I used to travel from NH to MA all the time, but the New England states are very small compared to Florida. I live about 400 miles south of the border. Maybe I should move to Jacksonville! Regarding mailing tickets across state lines, the rules were originally established to prevent people from selling lottery tickets to make a prof

Won $7 in PB 1/10 (3+0)
I'm happy for you and your big $7 prize. It's always good to win something in a multi-state game. Your comparisons of NY Lotto to Pick 3 are very JV [junior-varsity, newbie-like], and I'm very surpised you would make them. Pick 3 does not offer the chance to win a multi-million-dollar prize. A newbie would make that comparison. Also, to compare an in-state lotto game with the second-largest multi-state game is also JV. Are you suggesting that NY Lotto should have the same prizes as Pow

Delaware Lotto Won
It's Delaware's in-state lottery came. No other states play this. It is a knock-off of Match 6 from PA (the first state to try this format). Similar formats are used in MD and a multi-state version exists in VT/NH/ME. Ohio has a modified version of it. Explaination - http://www.delottery.com/MultiWin_hp.html Prize Chart - http://www.delottery.com/MultiWin_st.html You would add up the prize for each line individually (you can win on more than one line by matching at least 3 of 6) then a

Ga Win-4-Life * SirMetro's Picks
SirMetro I am new playing the Lottery games. However, I live in Florida and was wondering if any of your strings would work here on the Pick 6 Lotto. Maybe there is a way to modify what you pick so it would work. I would be tickled to death to be able to pick some 3 out 6 or 4 out of six numbers every once in a while. Our Lotto game consists of 6 numbers from 1 to 53 and our Fantasy 5 (PICK 5) consists of 5 numbers 1 to 36. You certainly seem to be closer and closer to the big one I

PowerBall 12-11-04: The pigskin challenge
pigskin,It looks like you've still got the bragging rights. None of us had more than one number in our ten number selections from the 5/53 pool. JAG331 had the 41 ball and I called the 53. I'm not discouraged though. I've had some success with the method I used to derive those number selections. The lottery is random but not perfectly random, so no method is going to give the best results every time it's used.I'm glad to see some of the more serious minds in Jackpot Games taking up The Pigskin C
