Predictions for tmw's draw... how many jackpot winners and how many 5 of 5 winners??
2 - Seems like there is always somebody from NY that is a big winner. I'm guessing that a group lottery pool of workers will have one of the winning tickets, and somebody's grandparents will have the other. And they all will discover needy friends and relatives they never knew they had

HOW TO WIN THE LOTTERY? Buy One Ticket.
I am not on a rush to win the lottery. But is important that i do not exceed my spending limit of $240 annually. The lottery has ruined many people lives because they do not have a spending limit when they play. You do not have to play the lottery everyday in order to win some day.But it is important to maximize your lottery budget without spending extra money or joining a lottery sindicate or as they call it a lottery pool.I am too lazy to go to the store and play lottery for every draw no matter

Mega-Millions & Powerball Teamwork.
I think the suggestion was for lottery teams, not lottery pools. You would be contributing to the number selections but you would have to buy your own tickets, so you wouldn't have the advantages of playing in a lottery pool.

Mega Millions Question
Ohio use to have that same rule until that IRS rule changed. Each state make up their own rules for their lotteries. Some states will payout a share of a jackpot to each member in a lottery pool if they win and others will only payout the jackpot to one person.

Mega Million Lottery Group
I agree with RJOh. It's hard enough dealing with a lottery pool when you actually interact with those people on a daily basis, let alone a bunch of strangers on the internet. I for one would never do it. I won't even join pools with friends or co-workers so there is no way I would join an online one. However, there is nothing stoping you from trying. Good luck!

Pot Size Prediction?
A few years ago a lottery pool in a steel plant near Cleveland tried some similar foolishness when they won a jackpot. They had been playing the lottery for years and invited a new employee to join them. He did and they won. When they split up their winnings they wanted him to accept a smaller share since he had just joined the pool before it won. The case ended up in court with him getting an equal share of the winnings .

Ohio Classic Lotto Numbers
Since I am tracking this new Ohio Lottery for myself, I decided I might as well post it here. My theory is, until all numbers within the lottery pool have hit at least once, it's fragile making any dynamic predictions. But, if nothing else, it's interesting to watch a new lottery grow, especially a classic six number ball drawn lottery with no bonus ball.

Ohio Lotto 6/49 Starts 01/22/2007
Ohio and Michigan already share the multi-state game MegaMillions for those players who want to play for an extra large jackpot. The Classic Lotto 6/49 game will fit nicely between Rolling Cash5 and MegaMillions. Some people use similar logic when starting a lottery pool but most people still prefer to take their chances alone and keep all their winnings rather than sharing them.

Mega Millions Number Strategy
I did the initial set-up on the 09/29 drawing. According to the graph, the lottery pool appeared in dormant phase, emerging in -C mode, (3 lower tier, 2 upper tier), on Friday 09/29/06. Hope you find this helpful...
