Congratulations Ames139
Even though the Maryland 6/49 Lotto game actually has a fixed 5/6 prize of $1500, that's a lot better than I've ever done on any game. The Maryland Lottery website shows that there were twenty 5/6 winners last night. I wonder if that was significantly more than usual. Ames139 posted only ten lines on the LP predictions page and was the only predictor last night for Maryland's Lotto game. Anybody in the world with the capability of getting a bet down could have done very well last night for a mod

How big do you think MM will get?
fx, NJ is a no tax state on lottery winnings and so is PA. The only thing you lose is what Uncle Sam takes off the top no matter what state you are from! Maryland has a tax on lottery winnings, one rate for In-State Residents (7.5%) and another for Non-Maryland Residents: 5%. Then if you do things right you can lower your tax bill on April 15 on the rest of the winnings! This is why you get a lawyer and a couple of financial advisor's before turning in the winning ticket.

Md. Classic Lotto Bonus game
Every once in awhile Maryland runs a special. Last year we had free tickets when x amount of dollars were spent in Mega and Classic Lotto. Now we get entered in a raffle for 25k weekly if we purchase 2 bucks or more. Two draws per week, btw. And there is a final draw for a Hummer H2 and 25k in five weeks for those who didn't get a thing. I love the freebies, and Maryland Lottery. Even if Mega Millions has sand bagged my Classic Lotto.

Powerball: $221.5 Million
I heard that BOTH tickets were sold in a York County (PA, on the Maryland state line, and SC, southwest of Charlotte).
