When I lived in Florida in the 80's I hit two 2.00 bingo tickets..One paid 250.00....and the other was 500.00...

And in GA, we have validation letters for winners of $19 or less. When it's $20 or more or if it's a losing ticket, the letters are random. I don't think anything is fishy with your story. I've heard of people doing that with our various Cashword and Bingo tickets in GA. Personally, I don't like to do that (I like the few seconds of excitement by scratching the whole play area and, if it's a bingo or crossword game, scratch the appropriate letters or numbers).

What are everyones favorite scratch off games in California?Mine are: the crossword, 10x the money, bingo, and the new holiday surprize .Bingo($3): i've won a decent amount off of it. Hitting from $5-$75. the odds with this one varies.Crossword($3): hitting $4-$50 odds are 1 out of 5 ticketsholiday S($3): $3-$20 odds of winning this one is high, but some times small prize. 1 out of 4 tickets.10x($5)- $6-$10.....this one i've see people hit $250. Almost in every pack, theres at least a $100

Abot $5 to $10 max. Been playing our Powerball Instant Millionaire game (currently Vegas nights). Sometimes, a $2 game with a send in the losers for a chance at a bonus gift prize (won a jacket once-very nice). Genrelly when I need something to pass the time, the various bingo-type games as well.
