HA!!! Got a laugh out of this and wanted to share it: Lottery rep was at my favorite Publix the other day for a promotion--lottery players who played any of the online games (the draw games) received a free $2 holiday scratch off for every online game ticket they bought through the instant machines. The promotion was to draw attention to the fact that you can buy the online games through the machines, etc..... so I figured I'd play 2 powerball tickets in order to get 2 free scratch offs.....stan

PA's Holiday Instant Games- The Truth.
I checked the odds on PA's holiday scratch-off games, and found some shocking news.The odds of winning on one of PA's holiday scratch-off tickets are worse than those of their regular scratch-offs, on every dollar amount.Now I always thought that the holiday scratch-off tickets were meant more to be given out as gifts. That means that those tickets are meant to be given as gifts that are more likely to get the recipient absolutely nothing, as compared to their regular scratch-offs.So who in PA

The only thing that makes me wonder is that I heard several employees at my local Publix market won a lot on scratch tickets. I rarely buy scratchers, mainly Lotto. However, one day when I said I never win anything, the clerk started telling me about this clerk and that clerk who won with the instant games. I only know of one cashier there who hit $10,000. While I doubt the cashier had any inside information, allowing employees to play scratch-offs where they work is just bad for busin

Thanks for the input. Yes, the 66.5% is across all games. I have seen that percentage vary from 62% one year, 67.5% another, etc. And of course the scratch offs have a predetermined number of winning tickets, with a predetermined ROI on those tickets, so I guess it's apples and oranges comparing scratch offs with draw games.

There is a place I go to where I buy $1 $2 games that I scratch at red lights. We all know some of those 5 minute lights in Tampa. These are easy/fast to scratch and don't make a mess. Came across this gem recently. It would be nice if some of the $20/$25 games paid this well when it's a winner.

There two different $30 Michigan scratch off. The top Prizes is 4 millions. After tax that like 2.5 millions. I play little but $30 is a lot. Only 3 tickets is $90. I hear one guy won 4 millions in a $30 Michigan scratch off. He was from Detroit area. Do anyone from LP win anything big Michigan scratch off?

Is there a chart for all NYS lottery scratch off's
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to chart all of the NYS scratch offs from the beginning to the present. The NYS Lottery does not list their old scratch off games so I was wondering if there is another way to find old scratch off games in the NYS Lottery.
