Losing faith in lottery, dismayed at what I'm seeing in America
i couldn't figure out if I wanted to post in scratch games or here. But lately I've mainly been playing scratch games, but before I stuck to random numbers. Don't mean to discourage anyone else from playing, but in my case I've been playing hard for 8 months now and still no win over $40. I look at the trends in random number games, I look at the odds and prizes claimed on scratch offs and remaining left. I have even been buying 2-5 $5 scratchers in one batch, and up to 10 $1 scratchers in a

I played a lot of tickets today and lost about $140. I'm done playing scratch offs. I played some tickets earlier today. 5 $10 Tech the Halls- 5th ticket won $50 2 $3 Hearts are Wild Tripler- lost 1 $3 Rack up the Cash- lost 3 $5 Funky 5's- 3rd ticket won $5 1 $5 Monopoly-lost 4 $20 Hit the Jackpot- 4th ticket won $30 5 $5 Big Cash Multiplier- 5th ticket won $50 I am going to stay away from the $20 tickets. The Maryland ones really suck I always seem to hit $20-30. Ideally there should not be 3 prizes between valued $20-30 on them I think

I have a friend who works @ a lottery out let . In Maryland we have keno horse races which run every 3 -5 mins. She always expect tips on theses games as well as starch tickets 3/4 digit hits and mega etc etc etc. She has also entered contest because customer's give her the loser tickets 2 enter . How Many Do You Buy at a Time & Other ??
I prefer $5 and sometimes $10 scratch-offs here in Maryland. Since the odds are usually around one in 3.5 or so, I usually buy two of the same scratch-offs at a time. I figure that gives me a little better odds of winning on at least one ticket. I have bought a few of the $20 tickets, but not too often. Please let us know: 1. Hi MDguy, good to see you but not so good news. I think quite a few players are losing interest in losing.....or at the least sick of not seeing great wins at least once in awhile. I've had some good luck and bad luck but not spectacular luck. The good ones in PA must be in some abandoned warehouse sitting until the top prizes go out then they can close the game and just recycle them without paying them out at all. I played a lot of tickets late last night. I think I lost $141 but it could have been worse. I don't know why I continue to periodically try the $20 tickets here. They suck in Maryland. Looking back I am sure a good portion of the bad losses I have had were from $20 tickets and very few times were they profitable. $80 of the nights losses were from $20 tickets and surprisingly I lost $36 chasing the rest of the $3 Hearts are Wild Tripler. Normally I like that ticket but I had 2 winners out of 18

I played some tickets while I was in Virginia. I think they are comparable to Maryland tickets but have slightly worse odds. I lost about $28 playing down there. Today I bought some tickets when I came home. I started out $5 up and should have quit after that but I played a few more and ended up losing some money.
