Multi-state Mega Millions lottery game changing this week
Later this week, the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game will undergo changes including a price hike designed to increase jackpots and make them grow faster. The cost of a Mega Millions ticket will climb from $1 to $2 starting with the Oct. 31 drawing. Tickets for that drawing go on sale Saturday, Oct. 28. Starting jackpots will increase from $15 million to $40 million. Both changes will put Mega Millions on equal footing with Powerball, which usually offers more lucrative jackpots.

Multi-state lottery game coming to Wyoming
Colorado looking to join the same game this summer WyoLotto players could have a new draw game to play by this fall after the Wyoming Lottery Corp. board of directors on Thursday unanimously approved adding the Lucky for Life game to the three currently offered. Lottery CEO Jon Clontz said he hoped Lucky for Life tickets could be sold in the state by October or November. Lucky for Life is similar to Powerball in that players pick six numbers. Matching all six numbers wins the jackpot. T

$675 MILLION: POWERBALL SETS ALL-TIME LOTTERY JACKPOT RECORD
Saturday Powerball jackpot rewrites the record books with the largest lottery prize the world has ever seen Jackpot of unthinkable size will almost certainly be even bigger by draw time By Todd Northrop It's been four years since the last lottery jackpot record was broken, but Wednesday night it finally happened again. The old record of $656 million, set by the multi-state Mega Millions game in March 2012, was shattered Wednesday when nobody won Powerball's $524.1 million jackpot, an

My thoughts on the lottery
I don't like 6/49 games and even though the matrix has less numbers the only way to win a decent prize would be to win the jackpot buy getting all 6 numbers which like other jackpot games is impossible. You have to buy a season ticket for that game or you can't get the doubler for the other few prizes. There is Mass Cash the 5/35 game but you can't even win a prize unless you get 3 numbers. Granted the jackpot of 100k would be nice to win and the ticket price is just a dollar but only one time

States pull the plug on Monopoly Millionaires' Club
Last drawing on Dec. 26 By Todd Northrop The states involved in the Monopoly Millionaires' Club lottery game have decided to halt ticket sales for the game as of Dec. 26. Twenty-two states plus the District of Columbia current offer the multi-state lottery game, which started just two months ago. The decision means players in the participating states can buy tickets for the game until Dec. 26. Three more drawings will be held, including those scheduled for Dec. 12, Dec. 19, and Dec.

New England's 'Lucky for Life' game to gain second lifetime prize
sure, the 2nd prize will now have some appeal. however they greedily expanded the field from 40-43 and the lucky number from 21-43 which pretty much eliminates any chance of winning it. that along with hefty 2.00 price tag further makes this a bad play for anyone over the age of 40. you would be better off trying to snag the 2nd place prize in powerball than this. without substantiated proof it seems most players who play these types of games are over 40. this game has not caught on at all in th

Poll: Michigan Mega Millions
With the in-state Michigan game rolling over for more than 6 months and not even reaching $20,000,000 , too much money is leaving Michigan through the multi-state game. Before Michigan got into the Mega Millions game it would take less than 10 draws to get the 6/xx Michigan games up to 20 Million. Since the Big Game/Mega Millions started, it has doubled the number of states that participate and skyrocketed the odds. Yes, the jackpots are bigger and they grow faster but with so many sta

National lottery, or 3d major game?
From time to time, there has been talk of a national lottery. This subject has just been brought up again. Whether it would supplement or replace Mega Millions and Powerball is anyone's guess. I would prefer that California, NY, and Texas break away from MM and form the country's third major lottery jackpot game. Once Florida finally approves a multi-state game, it should go with MM (even though players in south Florida would still have to travel hundreds of miles to play PB).

lotto tennessee,georgia,south carolina!
Sorry Boss, but I've got to respectfully disagree with ya on this one! Lotto South has had the opportunity to prove itself, but it doesn't seem to be doing well. Consider the following information: REPORT OF THE AUDIT OF THE KENTUCKY LOTTERY CORPORATIONhttp://www.kylottery.com/annual_report/2005-2004KYLotteryaudit.pdfIn September 2001, the KLC introduced Lotto South as a replacement game for Lotto Kentucky. The KLCparticipates in this game with the Georgia and Virginia lotteries. The incre
