Is Friday the 13th GOOD luck or BAD for playing the lottery?
Well Friday the 13th is good luck for the lottery! (ticket sellers), just as much as any other day, maybe even a little more since some people try to break the spell . Maybe it's a good day to play all the unlucky numbers (there's a thread somewhere about them) but I think they are 4 - 13 in Asia, 4 in Chines is sa , which means death 13 - Hey, 1 + 3 is...4! 17 - Considered unlucky in Italy (from a dream book), but sure seems to hit a lot 18 - trip sixes (6+6+6), the mark of the b

$ spent on lottery
$1550 to $5000 in 2 years time. I am spending minimum 1200 euros ($1550) per year for lottery games. Sounds painful sum to most of you, but atleast I am honest. I have even travelled into Italy for a vacation when there was this 148 million euros jackpot, to Belgium for 185 million and this months to Florida for $325 million in Powerball. If all that was combined to vacational costs, we are talking about $5000 in last 2 years, minimum. With big efforts I have finally arranged l

Dear Gary, I am Steve Robertson an Orphan by birth, raised up isolated from the world. When I was of age around 5-6 I am told I only collected the 12 pages of athe calender and after a year was able to instantly answer the day of week of any date. I finally educated myself as a 5th rank marine engineer in merchant navy, 5 ranks below the chief engineer. When I reached the 5th eng. rank, i was severally crippled in an accident at work, and paid a life compensation of over a million dollars. I liv

Win with Magic ( numbers and more)
The women at the Greek restaurant in my neighborhood, wear their wedding rings on their right hand. I rotate my wedding rings to either hand to allow the air to circulate around the fingers. It keeps the skin nice. Plus, I make my own traditions! :) Harve$t Moon ~~~ Your Wedding Ring Left or Right Hand? In some Western countries (UK, other Commonwealth nations, Ireland, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Iran, Chile, Italy, France, Sweden, and Slovenia), the wedding ring is worn o

Why is Europe Euromillions & the world so Behind the USA
Damn!!! If they want to make more people play they will have to increase the jackpot... The only alternative left is to raise the matrix... Europe you need to raise the matrix to 60....I think that's the only way it will increase to 200 million dollars... Europe is starting to remind me of Utah... i don't understand if people are so concern with the lottery been to gamblish they why don't they put caps on the tickets, caps like the maximum a person can spend is 10 dollars...or stu

24 year-old Calif. man claims lottery riches
In my opinion, I don't think its the age at all that deserves to win. Its a good person who deserves to win. Everyone has a story to tell at any age. The 20 year old who wants to pay for college and help out his parents who may be sturggling...the 40 year old who has worked hard at his job for 20+years to support the family..the 60 year old who wants to retire in style cuz dang it he/she deserves it...and the 80 year old who dreams of leaving some money to the kids...the grandkids....and event t

How about the all "unlucky number" ticket
Why not? I'm putting this in discussions as they could be used for any game. 13 is obvious. In Asian cultures, 4 is considered unlucky (beyond unlucky, in Chinese it's the word sa , which means death - and after all, 13 is 4 +1) 17 - unlucky in Italy (oddly, if you track games, it sure seems to hit a lot) 18 - because it's trip sixes 28 Some say 28 is the most evil number of all. 42- Seriously unlucky...the Asian 4, and in Japanese, 42 is shi ni , which menas you die .
