MM sets two new records
Mega Millions rolled to $125 million and sets two new records. It is currently the second largest jackpot in the US. This is a record high for the second largest jackpot. The previous record was $100 million.$125 million is also the largest MM jackpot after 12 rolls. The previous record was $115 million set on July 9, 2002. This is probably related to Texas joining MM.The 12 roll record for The Big Game lottery that MM replaced was $64 million. The Powerball 12 roll record is the highest at $135

Powerball jackpot seems very inflated.
While it is allegedly said to be tied to the return rate of the cash investment, the truth is they can manipulate their figures to claim that they are right, knowing full well that their is no one or no entity that will investigate if they are massaging the figures to amounts that they can advertise for a seemingly larger jackpot. We all know enough basic human nature to know or suspect that this is what their doing. It's interesting how the exchange rate changed so dramatically about the same t

Powerball Sets A New Record
The Powerball lottery did not set a new 15 roll record for the Feb 8 draw. The jackpot was only $213 million where the record is $221.5 million. The record was set under the old matrix. The Mega Millions 15 roll record is $294 million and was set under the old matrix for Mega Millions. Interesting to note that at 15 rolls, the gap between the records for PowerBall and Mega Millions is the largest at $73 million. At 16 rolls, their records are almost identical at $314.9 for Powerball and $315

Mega Millions Record Breaking Run
I have a feeling that we may see a record breaker with this run by Mega Millions. This year will be a year of unusual breakthroughs. Why not start it off with a record-breaker! Just think, we've all put money in the pool of a $400,000,000 Jackpot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
Those of us who understand how it works are looking at the cap on the increase. The most it can go up is $25 million above the previous record, so therefore 390 is the highest it can go on the first roll that is more than the current record of $365 million. I know it's a challenging concept, but if it rolls to 375 and then goes to 400, the 400 will be the 2nd jackpot that exceeds the current record. It has been pointed out that it could be less than 390, but past sales suggest that's unlikely g

Hoosier Lottery
Well Jim, actually the record hasn't been broken, it's been tied. The previous record was at $42 million. One more roll will make a new record. Even with a new record, I don't expect any type of press release or commercial. I hardly ever see a Hoosier Lottery commercial. The Hoosier Lottery just doesn't advertise their lottery as much as others like the Kentucky Lottery. Haven't got a response from my email yet.

Mega Millions Hit
$101M was a record. $121M is also a record - for me! That is the only record I care about! A $999M jackpot, won buy a bunch of crab fishermen in Maryland, doesn't do me any good, whatsoever! In fact, it will only cost me more money to keep following the shioney lure! Hell, I'd like to hit the $7M Powerball Saturday night. That too would be a record - for me!
