Hot Lotto, as was Powerball originally, is a game intended for lotteries that cannot offer multi-million dollar jackpots. Hot Lotto is not as attractive to players as Powerball is, or at least that's what the states think, and that is why not too many MUSL states offer Hot Lotto. Wild Card 2 and 2 By 2 are MUSL games that are meant to be regional.

I'll bet some of the same ideas for multi-state lottery games being discussed here were discussed at MUSL meetings. MUSL currently has six multi-state games including MM and PB. Hot Lotto is played in 14 states and in D.C., Wild Card 2 is played in four less populated states, 2by2 is played in three states, and MegaHits is a slot machine type game played in casinos in three states. Thanks for the good wishes, but I didn't even come close. Powerball was won, so I'll cut those tickets and spend on Wild Card 2 for a couple weeks instead.

Powerball Changes Coming SoonReply
If Idaho's games were better I might but they pretty much suck so I'll pay the $2 for powerball. Come to think of it, Idaho doesn't have their own large JP game. We have a regional game that includes 3 other states - Wild Card 2 - that's 2 lines for a dollar. And we have an exclusively Idaho game called Weekly Grand but the max prize on that is 52K, and it costs $2. So I'm thinking PB is better than either of these.

Some mountain states did this with the Wild Card 2. It's played in Idaho, Montana, and North and South Dakota. I actually thought Wyoming had it too, I was surprised that WY doesn't have a lottery. I bet they have a lot of people crossing the border to play in other states. Wonder why they don't want to keep that money for themselves?

Not at the moment. I don't travel very often anymore, so basically, I just play Powerball and every now and then, I play Hot Lotto and Wild Card 2. No more Pick 3 for me, unless I move to a different state or they allow online gambling.
